Senior Quality Engineer II

Sharena spearheads human factors engineering, makes code maintainable, and works on quality systems. Sharena tested four of Sanmai’s prototypes, produced clinical trial documentation, and trained five external clinical sites. Sharena earned her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Michigan. There, she was focused on experimental techniques as part of the team that discovered and characterized a new brain wave called “splines.” She frequently speaks about neurotechnology for universities and conferences. Sharena has published 30+ trade journal articles about neurotech, mostly focused on medical devices. She writes for corporate audiences as Contributing Editor with Neurotech Reports and is Venture Fellow at Kaleida Capital. She can turn almost anything into a wordplay.
